Quick question: does anyone know what it means when NSolve gives itself as an output? (E.g. imgur.com/38FE5QB) The obvious answer is that there is no solution, yet when I ask NSolve to solve for functions which I know there is no solution to (e.g. x^2 + 1 = 0, where x is real) it returns instead {} as an output.
