To guys interested in PDE solving: recently I came across a julia package called Trixi for dealing with hyperbolic conservation laws: github.com/trixi-framework/Trixi.jl Though it's still in its beta, I think it's worth keeping an eye on. (NDSolve cannot handle these types of PDEs well at the moment. )

Hi all. I want to buy a Mathematica as a gift for my father, who was statistician when he was young. His computer operates with Windows 95 (he is a little old fashioned), does any one know if Mathematica 12.3 could be installed and function well on Windows 95?

@user82663 I don't believe you'd be able to buy a license for a version that old from WRI in the first place, let alone actually download it.
