The question about calling Wolfram Engine from Swift is interesting. It says here that Wolfram Engine supports "native computation and interface for mobile devices, including the complete Wolfram Language and SDK" but I can't find any information about how it works.

Does anyone know about the Wolfram Technology Conference abstract/description length restrictions? I am under the word limit, over the character limit (with spaces) and am curious about what that would mean? I'd not like to get rejected for something so silly. If there is any resource you might recommend, apart from calling (everyone is still out from the summer programs) as I tried and got voicemails. Many thanks all!

(zero guarantees that this is what's happening here, but: i've encountered systems before where things that you're submitting, but which aren't in that specific submission box, are counted toward the character limit in the background. e.g., your name, your title, et c.—it could be something like that. i'd hope that wolfram wouldn't have such a silly problem, though...)

@BenKalziqi I've had references & titles count, not count, just titles, titles separately, references together, titles together, with the main abstract--I would have thought there'd be a specific mention of spaces/no spaces or a word counter/character counter that would function as you entered things, but that does not seem so. Likely easy to program in the WL, though ;)
