Gotta get the final bits of my automated paclet server system working again, I think, but it's finally moved to b3m2a1.github.io/PacletServer
Needs a rebuild to reset all the links from WC links to GitHub links though
Installing from there works, though:
PacletInstall[
 "ServiceConnection_WolframCommunity",
 "Site" -> "https://b3m2a1.github.io/PacletServer/"
 ]
If you'd like your own version of this I can show you how I do it.

6:19 AM
Also you can have a nice theme if you want:
Bland but clean which I think is probably pretty good.

Got my tabs to remember where they had been scrolled to when switching back to them from another tab. Was not easy to implement because of a lack of a targeted Notebook API, but is definitely a useful feature.

@kirma Unfortunately my university's site license doesn't include Mathematica Online. I contacted Wolfram to see if I can add that on myself.

Does anyone else think it would make sense to have a dynamical-systems tag? There are regularly questions about Poincaré maps, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcations, strange attractors etc. They all end up under the rather generic "differential-equations" tag.

11:51 AM
I think that the words "dynamical" and "system" are so broad that a lot of people will not understand that it is a subdiscipline of Mathematics (It's just my advice)

12:15 PM
I'd add the tag ...

The Wolfram|Alpha Story Today it’s 10 years since we launched Wolfram|Alpha. At some level, Wolfram|Alpha is a never-ending project. But it’s had a great first 10 years. It was a unique and surprising achievement when it first arrived, and over its first decade it’s become ever stronger and more unique. It’s found its way into [...]

I have a Polyhedron (which looks fine with Graphics3D) that I would like to export to 3D model formats like STL. Is there a guide/page/question covering this sort of thing? It seems Export is calling DiscretizeGraphics which is failing, but I don't know what I should read to reformat my polyhedron.

8:24 PM
Oh, apparently if I replace Polyhedron with Polygon I go from being amble to export nothing to being able to export to everything...

@MarkS. Presumably though Polygon only gives you a shell region, right?

10:15 PM
@b3m2a1 Region only works with Poilyhedron, if that's what you mean. But I assume most 3D model formats just keep track of polygons/triangles anyway

10:38 PM
@MarkS. I meant would it export the necessary flags to tell STL that it's a filled model. Not sure if STL has that, but if it did, you know?
