@ChrisK what would a nice docs workflow be for you?

@CarlLange I honestly don't know much about Dataset, I tried using it twice and I found it more obfuscated than just directly using the data
@b3m2a1
remember that interpreter caches subsequent calls, so using RepeatedTiming might not be measuring what you think is measuring

@CarlLange The upcoming (in V12) SubsetMap (or whatever it ends up being called) function might allow for easy batching of calls, depending on how it handles associations...

Awesome work: UNET a Mathematica package for image segmentation

@Carlo I made sure to evaluate those a few times to allow Interpreter to build its cache first. I think the difference there is really Interpreter overhead.

Is it just me or does FindDistribution produce really bad results for some data? For instance, the following:
> {321, 303, 244, 276, 256, 265, 319, 266, 289, 247, 328, 242, 265, 333, 258, 240, 263, 299, 245, 238, 358, 246, 285, 261, 239, 252}

@psimeson Depends a lot. I work with satellite data which often has large holes in it, and in that case it doesn't make sense to do any kind of inference
@b3m2a1 Wow, thanks a lot! Very in-depth :) Really appreciate it!
@LukasLang Interesting! Yet another reason to look forward to 12 :)

10:52 AM
@b3m2a1 @Szabolcs is there a function to create a .mz from a directory full of .paclets?

Yep PacletManager`Package`BuildPacletSiteFiles
Or write a PacletSite expression export it as .zip

@b3m2a1 thanks!

@HenrikSchumacher Totally believe you! :) But @CarlWoll with his neat trick seems to have reigned them a bit for now to follow wolfram polygon conventions at last.

This post discusses new Wolfram Language features from the upcoming release of Version 12. Copyable input expressions and a downloadable notebook version of this post will be available when Version 12 is released. Version 12 of the Wolfram Language introduces the functions GeometricScene, RandomInstance and FindGeometricConjectures for representing, drawing and reasoning about problems in plane

@b3m2a1 but this way you end up caching alpha calls too you might want internal`ClearEntityValueCache[]

@Szabolcs what would be a reason for specifying more than one element in the "Contexts"->{...} part of a PacletInfo.m?
