Is anyone else ticked that, as far as I can tell (emails to WR) Mathematica Annual Subscription now does NOT include updates/upgrades during that year - you need to add a Personal License or Service Pack to get those updates? I have no idea if even bug fixes are included. For sure, WR can set whatever terms they want for their product..but this change just seems out of step with what most people expect - or until recently received - under an subscription license. Is it just me?

No news for v12?

@xzczd :D
Tell me about it. Every livestream starts with, paraphrased, "This is basically the last livestream for 12.0 functionality before release"
I was a bit sad to not see any livestreams related to the new Compiler. I hope that doesn't mean it's delayed until 12.1 or 13...
I don't suppose anybody has an idea of how to get EntityValue[ent_, class_] to call a different property function depending on whether there is one ent or a list of them? I want to aggregate queries (I know this is definitely in 12 but I'm sure some version of it is in 11.3)

Just playing.
rim = RandomImage[1, {500, 500}, ColorSpace -> "RGB"];
Table[GaussianFilter[rim, rad, Padding -> 0.5], {rad, 1, 100}] //
   Total // ImageAdjust // ColorBalance

The answer to my question mathematica.stackexchange.com/questions/190477/… is WRONG! Why is it getting upvotes?!

@apt45 people upvote for many different reasons. Among most voted topics there is one about drawing buttocks. Why?! Because internet. I am sure you can get along with Anton so don't worry and talk to him.

@Kuba Sure, I tried.. but he does not reply anymore

Then wait for others.

sure ;)

@user21 can I mix QuadElement and TriangleElement?

@user21 also is there code to do get finite difference derivatives over an ElementMesh?
Couldn't find it in an admittedly cursory look through the docs
@user21 another question...is it possible to make ElementMesh consider -4.27739*10^-14 to be 0? i.e. I'm getting a message:
"The quality -4.27739*10^-14 of the underlying mesh is too low. The \
quality needs to be larger than 0.`"
I've got a mesh over a rotated coordinate system and I'd like to just do an Interpolation rather than having to rotate back to a coordinate system it likes and then rotate all of my coordinates into that system, interpolate there, and then rotate back.
It's something I can and have dealt with in the past but I was hoping the ElementMesh stuff would make it cleaner and more natural as it provides a more object-oriented interface.
