@halirutan it is not doing any thing on version 9. Screen shot. is it supposed to change title of notebook or something like this?

11:43 AM
@Nasser It is supposed to set the status area at the very bottom of the Mathematica window

12:35 PM
@halirutan what about old fashioned SetOptions?

@m_goldberg I understand but the impact I was talking about is from recent years, not from 30 years ago :)

@Kuba Yes. I was thinking about what the real underlying mechanism but I think SetOptions works probably in most versions.
The current value def of the above test-code is btw
With[{t = EvaluationNotebook[], o = WindowStatusArea},
 MathLink`CallFrontEndHeld[
  FrontEnd`SetValue[FEPrivate`Set[CurrentValue[t, o], "Test"]]]
 ]
This is a test...
Sorry :)

3:35 PM
@Kuba Granted. I was just remarking about how much I have slowed down over the years.

@halirutan, the CurrentValue[EvaluationNotebook[], WindowStatusArea] = "Testlabel"
snippet works on my version 9.0

8:20 PM
@halirutan I see. In this case, it works in version 9 ! I did not notice before the label there are the bottom has changed.

Is C related to the r in parametricplot in any way? If not, can I make a parametricplot of c? i.imgur.com/R78tICC.png

@Suba Thomas @user:5998 I can't find the MicrocontollerKit anywhere. Is it available ?

@KraZug @Nasser Thank you both for trying this out!

Are we up to 11.3.1 now? I'm running 11.3.0 on Windows and this `BoundaryDiscretizeGraphics[
Text[# <> #], _Text] & /@
CharacterRange["A", "E"]` doesn't work. I think it did in 11.2 (I know it does on RPi 11.2).
Wolfram is making my life difficult.

10:20 PM
@bobthechemist No, 11.3 is still the most recent.
