@MichaelE2 - maybe not worth it, crashes are hard to fix when not reproducible

@J.M. I'm still making no promises, but things look better. Today, I was at a DHL store which is our German parcel service that also sends world-wide. The prize is acceptable and I think I'm going to send you as much as I can, possibly taking the tower apart. The LCD weights 7.3 kg and the complete tower 25.1 kg. The limit for the parcel is 20 kg.
Therefore, it's not possible to send everything assembled with this tower. On the other hand, I have several other computers that are not used anymore with much lighter towers. The one for this machine is a metal XXL tower.
My plan for the weekend is to see if the machine is still running OK and look at the exact specs. Then I'll wipe the hard-drives and take everything apart. After that, I'm checking how much this all will weight and if there is a reasonable margin left, I'm going to check for another spare ATX tower.
It's not going to be Amazon Prime speed as it will take at least 14 days to arrive.
Forgive me my possible dumb and rude question, but I have no idea how things look on your side: I can use the exact address you send me, right? I'm not sure if parcels are delivered directly to you or if you need to pick them up and if you get a notification or if I rather should send it to some kind of parcel depot.
Another dumb question: We use IEC 60320 C13 power connectors which seem to be international but the connection that goes into the power socket of the wall looks like this and I believe this won't be of much use to you, is it?

3:15 AM
@halirutan check the power supply's stats, if it doesn't support the right voltage you can remove it from the tower and reduce the weight

@Alucard Ah yes, stupid of me. Not everywhere there is 220V AC available :)

3:27 AM
@Alucard The voltages and frequencies seem to handled by the BeQuiet power supply but thanks for pointing it out!

@halirutan ah ok great

Hey @Szabolcs quick suggestion from using MaTeX with lualatex
 `MaTeX`Developer`ResetConfiguration[]`
is kind of a mouthful and tricky to find in the docs if you're looking for just that
maybe there's the chance to simplify it? it would be nice to have that available via ConfigureMaTeX
say, ConfigureMaTeX[Reset[]] or ConfigureMaTeX["pdflatex"->Default] or something
something that's easy enough to remember without digging into the docs

@halirutan, certainly, this is not an obligation at all. :) I am thankful that you are taking all this bother and expense.
With respect to power: we use 220V AC; I'll try to find an adapter myself if need be.
The address I sent you is directly usable; I would only recommend that you not use the normal post, as the local post office is notorious at poorly handling, or even swiping, electronic parts.
DHL does have a local office, so that might be good. I might have to ask about customs/duty fees next week.

@J.M. You'll only need a power cable. We have 220V and 50Hz here, and you have 220V and 60Hz (which the power supply can handle).
@J.M. That's one thing I have no influence on. Even in the DHL store they only have very limited knowledge about how the parcel is handled in your country and I think they most likely have a contract with one of your local parcel services.

Correct, it's 220V/60Hz. :) Very nice, then!

@J.M. I hope there is no fee at your end.

I would suggest asking them if it is possible for them to send it to their own local office instead of the post. This is also the reason I need to ask about duties, because at the worst I'll have to pay for all that extra bureaucracy they impose.

@EmilioPisanty Noted. Keep the feedback coming. For now I just added extra notes to the documentation. Maybe a new configuration system for 2.0 ...
I have seen a DHL office in China ... a narrow alley between two buildings was covered with a makeshift roof, one woman sitting inside with some packages piled up in the back, and some guys coming and going on motorized tricycles
It didn't inspire a lot of trust. But in my (very) limited experience, package delivery worked very efficiently there.

12:51 PM
@Szabolcs Sure. Maybe add a bullet point with the command to the Details section of ConfigureMaTeX?
that's the most natural place to look for "ok, I've used this and it's changed my system, how do I roll it back?"
Probably also some words after the Warning in the Basic Examples section
i.e. "this is going to change your system", to which the user says "fine. but how do I roll it back?"
or something like that.

@EmilioPisanty Yes, that's what I did.
This site isn't much fun anymore

Here's a question proposal (which is almost certainly off topic):
How to implement a Lucid-like DSL in Mathematica? cse.unsw.edu.au/~plaice/archive/WWW/1985/…

1:12 PM
@Szabolcs Danish Sign Language?
digital subscriber line ?
Design Science License?
Dictionary of the Scots Language?
either way, sounds implementable

1:47 PM
Domain Specific Language, and a very sloppy, actually inaccurate description here ...

@Szabolcs Oh my. :D Thankfully, the last time I dealt with them, they were in a nice (if a bit chaotic) office.

@xslittlegrass Wow
catch you now.
Are you in windows 10??
The configure problem of tensorflow confusing me one week almostly. If you are available.I need some help indeed..

4:57 PM
@yode I'm using a mac. But tensorflow seems to support pip install of tensorflow on windows: pip3 install --upgrade tensorflow-gpu

@xslittlegrass I have done that
same to this problem actually,but any try don't work for me.

From GitHub:
It's almost certainly a missing directory from the %PATH% environment variable. The most common error is that the directory containing the cuDNN DLL is not in %PATH%, as it's different from where the rest of the CUDA DLLs are installed.

Actually I have also..

I don't have any ideas then. May you can try to post an issue on their GitHub page?

It not very related MMA,So I open another room for other question@xslittlegrass

@Szabolcs there's also Lucida Math.

Does this form of traversing the tree have a name? With positive levels, {1}, {2} etc. it traverses level by level, but with negative levels {-1}, {-2} it is less clear what is happening.
It starts counting from the leaf nodes, but then removes nodes that contain other selected nodes?

8:32 PM
The simplest way of putting it is probably that level -n consists of those nodes for which the depth is n.
