Is it just me or has there been more "how do I implement what Mathematica does in <insert language here>" questions lately?

@Edmund Those question almost always lack a deeper understanding of the algorithm itself. If I understood how a method is supposed to work (for instance building an octree), implementing it is a matter of looking up that syntax and available data-structures and functions. A better question is always "how do I implement algorithm X effectively in language Y". As seen here very often, it is not always obvious (even for advanced users) why different implementations in Mathematica have drastic..
..differences in speed.
