Q: Best way to publicize packages / paclets?

b3m2a1I recently wrote up a package for simple paclet construction which has made distributing my code so much simpler. The flip side of this, however, is that for a lot of what I make I have no good, unobtrusive way to let people know it exists, even when it's something that's free and probably reason...

I'm puzzled.
I got a new apartment (I mean, they just finished building it), and the list of residents has a floor labeled as VIV. How common is that for 9? It does follow the logic of XIX being 19, but still...

@kirma Well, this may be a in your building! FromRomanNumeral["viv"] returns FromRomanNumeral::nrom: String viv does not represent a valid roman numeral. But that is only because of modern convention. Ancient use was more flexible.

@rhermans Ancient USA? ;)

@kirma typo, fixed.

:)
I think IX, X and XI are not particularly easy to distinguish. Still I wonder if this is some sort of a mistake or an intentional choice. Using VIV is more creative than one would expect for a plain error...

this site allows that expression as a valid form of 9, others don't.

hmm...

10:28 AM
@kirma Still FromRomanNumeral["viv"] does return 9 and FromRomanNumeral["IIII"] returns 4, even if with the error message.
Try RomanNumeral[10^100 - 1]

@Kuba Internal`Reset[] works for me, but I do get CloudEvaluate errors when deploying the packages.
BUT I could tricking myself

@chuy is this Internal`Reset or Internal`Restart? I've never seen either before, but the latter's the only one the FE recognizes for me.

Wooo! Stephen Wolfram is doing live demo on Twitch Talk using my video game data set!
