so first of all thank you C.E. for your helpt, and thanks to the mathematica communitiy in gengeral, always very helpful
i am now very close to the plot, i need ...

only if ther is a way to interpolate the points along the level of the plates, that would be great

9:47 AM
i tried to identify some points right before and after the missing areas, with FindInstance so that i can then interpolate over area with the missing plot but i reach recursionslimit all the time

@Mike It would be better when you write a real question for the main site. Explain everything you did so far and where your final problems are.

Q: Fourier Transform(first use)

L.K.This is in continuation of the question I asked Wrong evaluation of integral in Mathematica? But I will try to make it self contained. I have a periodic function funct[h_,t_] = Cos[ω*t]^2(where ω will be removed if calculating using Fourier Transform but not while using integral just below, s...

I am facing the problem but no hints so far.Please give some reviews about it.

@halirutan Can you say something about it?

Do people agree that this should be tagged as bugs (see answer)? If yes, please go ahead and tag it:

Q: Parallelization inside a module: Proper use of local variables

pawel_winzigI have the following Module which includes a ParallelDo call. Unfortunately, ParallelDo is not using the local variable: Clear[a]; foo[a_] = a; nmax = 3; tmpMat = IdentityMatrix[nmax]; SetSharedVariable[tmpMat] a = 0; foo2[a0_] := Module[{a = a0}, ParallelDo[tmpMat[[n1, n2]] = foo[a], {n1, 1, ...

@Mr.Wizard I find it amazing that after all these years they are still finding ways to improve the performance of basic vector arithmetic. From experience, numerical performance does keep steadily improving with the versions.
