@RM the optimal location for your router is next to the microwave owen
you want to make the signal stronger in the place that has the most interference

@RM I'm definitely trying this.
@Fx @RM I thought microwave ovens were decently shielded... I've never had a problem with those.
And I'm on a mixed network (more than one router, a/b/g/n capability)

@rcollyer I've had some of my comments deleted in Bio.Beta. Perfectly well-intentionded ones, when trying to better answer questions. There's something really fishy going on in there, I feel like their board is dominated by kids.
Deleted without notice, without a chat message, simply deleted.
A mod must either have done it by himself, or after seeing it was flagged.

@CHM ping the mods on bio and ask what's going on.

@rcollyer I've meta'd it, asking for their policy regarding that. It's fair enough - the answer was edited, my comments were thus obsolete.

@CHM that works.
@RM Those are good! Complete with sounds.

@rcollyer I've been told that if I need more information on a question, as a reader, I need to look it up myself - that it's not the job of the author to provide such details. Its then end of my love story with Bio.Beta
I end up heartbroken xD
@rcollyer anyway, even if that's not what the mod meant, I'm quitting.
Now I'm just wondering if there's a way to remove my participation in an SE site

@CHM comments are always second class and subject to removal any time at the mod's discretion. I never understood why people cling to comments like diamonds.
Of course, common sense says a mod won't run around blasting comments off all the time, but I guess you ought to have realized that your comment was obsolete when you saw that the edits were made

@yoda I understand.
But this was just too much for me, since my experience in their beta was not good.
And then a mod told me If I wasn't going to google the chemicals myself, then I shouldn't bother answering. Which could be twisted to say that if the inquirer isn't going to google the answer to his question, then he should consider not asking it.
Anyway, it's over.

@CHM I don't like yahoo answers either, but I don't visit it except for shits and giggles :P Maybe SE is trying to tell you that mma.se should be your only love; no sleeping around ;)

CHM
Haha. That's what I'm going to stick with!
I'll start asking more questions as soon as I resume work with mma

Anyway, some general policy info for you:

Q: Should moderators delete obsolete and resolved comment threads?

Robert CartainoThese types of comment discussions are pretty common: @AuthorX: In your post, I think you meant "you're", not "your". - user1234 35 mins ago Oh, thanks. It's fixed now. - AuthorX 30 minutes ago Once resolved, those comments are useless and noise. As a user, I was always wary about ...

Thanks, I've read other similar opinions. And I agree with the policy.
I wasn't aware of it earlier, though.

No worries :) People can't be expected to know things that were discussed 2-3 years ago on MSO... it often causes temporary hiccups, but the good thing is that they're temporary :)

I've got to go. I miss MMA, and it's only been a couple of days.
Lol.
