Q: getting error when trying to connect sharepoint 2013 port 80 from client machine

forouz I installed SharePoint 2013 on a single server 2008 R2 with a built-in Sql server 2008 R2. I created a new web application with a site collection on port 80, but when I want to open it from client machine it gives me error:Sorry, something went wrong.File Not Found. I am creating the root site co...

both machine on the same domain? is SharePoint is on VM? Can u access the site from Server itself? are u using DNS or server name?

Yes sharepoint is on VM, I can access site from server, but when I use sarver name (servername)oror) ip address (ip address)of server in client machine the error occurred.
but i'm not sure about same domain

can you ping the IP address of the Server from your client machine?

Yes I can ping server IP from my machine

what exact error u are getting in browser when u trying to access the site? did you create the root level Site collection in that web app(root level is "/")

Sorry, something went wrong. File Not Found
it is a publishing site

File not found means Site does not exist....can you make sure that root level site collection creates in that web app

Yes I'm sure, I created a publishing portal in root
when I want to open the url it first asks me user name and password after I insert my account the error comes up

it should give u access denied...But did you configure the Object Cache( super user & super reader) for the web app

something interesting happened, I can access _layouts/15/settings.aspx
only default page has problem! no I just created this web app and SC whiteout any setting ,...

can you access the other pages of site collections from the client pc...or i can say site setting page?

6:47 AM
all pages have problem and when I try to create a page the same error occurres

try to set the object cache or create another web app on different port then create root level site collection with team template

I've just created team site and it works perfect, just the publishing portal has problem

So man it is Object cache problem with publishing portal.technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/….
if you think it give you direction and i put it as answer, so everybody get advantage
