hmm
ok not sure why it's not contracting the url
original was closed but I think the answer to it has high value , so it can be reopened such that it is the question referred to for other such similar queries

@Buraian Typically in multiline messages, there are often problems with links. Your first link goes to this question: Find the number of triples $(k_1, k_2, k_3)$ of integers under non equal constraints. The second one is a link to a comment.
"Stars and bars method of finding solutions assumes constraints on each variable is same, in your question each variable has different upper limit , so it doesn't work." Unclear what you are saying. If you are saying that the OP incorrectly implemented Stars and Bars - then okay. If not, if you are instead saying that Stars and Bars (in general) can't handle this type of problem, then please see my comment following the query. — user2661923 8 hours ago
Although I am not sure whether you really intended to link to a comment.

@Xander Do moderators ever handle comment flags in meta.math.se? Like within two weeks time?

@amWhy Yes. I have been in a meeting all day, and am just getting to the meta flags. In fact, I was just trying to decide what to do with a particularly annoying thread on meta when you pinged me.

@XanderHenderson Thanks! Sorry for my impatience :(

Also, I don't keep track of meta flags as well as flags on the main site---because moderators are pinged when new meta questions are posted, I find that I actually spend less time on meta since being elected. It is kind of perverse, but I have to work harder to remember to check in.

@XanderHenderson No problem, @Xander. I realize there is to some sense a division of labor among the mods. But one frequent moderator on meta tends to dismiss me and my flags.

Well, there are currently no meta flags to handle. So... I guess I've done a job?

Yes, absolutely! Tanks, @Xander. :-)
