I understand the bicycle stack mostly as the one for the bicycles as "objects", rather than planning itineraries. So maybe better to leave it there, and if no answers, move it here.

Yeah its a bit of both - there's elements of local knowledge and cycling-racing generally.
I'd say leave it on travel for a couple days and migrate if no answers.
