@Sam7919 Really? I'd imagine you can feel the difference. One is 50% more pressure than the other...
@Sam7919 Note that if you're flying with air canada, the bike is $50 for being a bike, and then it's another $50 because it counts as a piece of luggage (if not included in the ticket price). The plus side is that you can put some of your clothes and towels and stuff in the box as uh, reusable padding material.

omg, Shimano Di2 battery costs 135€ and doesn’t even work properly at -4°C
half an hour into the ride the front derailleur stopped working (it draws more current), then the rear derailleur
was also funny how at first it said “battery low” and 10 seconds later “battery critical” xD

@MaplePanda Do you know the "Thule RoundTrip Sport" travel bag? It's ~17 kg empty. By the time the bike is inside it will surely be over the (typical) 23 kg allowed. And so it can't masquerade as just another suitcase. But aside from that, does it make more sense to use a soft-case?
@Michael New market segment in the horizon: Wool (/pimaloft, ..) wrap for down tube, to protect the battery inside. Only works on carbon frames (alloy would transmit heat regardless of a protective sleeve, and wrapping the entire frame would be a bit unreasonable.
(lol: remove "surely" above)
