@gschenk "Zilch" is slang for "none."
Or did you mean what country might have suggested that?
I think it's USian originally.

zilch means zero so its same as noughties
we used to describe 1900-1909 as teh "nineteen hundreds"

I found reference for 'Zilch' as use for 'John Doe' somewhere in US. But i found not where 'zilch' is used as none, neither where it is used for the noughties.
That's something native speakers usually know pretty well.

I've never heard of zilchies - sounds silly IMO.

@Swifty Nope - can't find it sorry.
Best I can find are a lot of questions about broken shifters and "I changed everything and now it jumps multiple gears" One was all the way ffrom first to 7th/8th with one click.

that talks about up one and down two, but thats fairly normal for pod shifters
