gah, I will probably need a special lock ring for my front disc brake rotor.
which in turn needs a less common tool to lock it.
a hollowtech II bottom bracket tool.
I also hope they have the more rare version with a hex interface, and not the wrench type.
I don't want to guess 40 Nm.

I've seen a mechanic guess a torque value before.
He rigged a pipe and a nut on a thread in a clamp beside the car
and used a torque wrench on that to gauge the strain needed
then used the same arm and strain "level" on the car.
