How many watts does a pre-schooler put out?
Can I fit a power meter to a 12" bike?
Why are there no balance bikes with proper drop bars?
What can I do when the road cleats are wider and longer than my child's entire foot ?
What on-road nutrition should we use when a rider is teething ?
Who makes skinsuits that have room for nappies ?

About 23.
Perhaps one of the pedal-based ones would work.
There's the gap in the market that makes you your first million.
Tell them to growTFU.
Bidon full of milk and energy gels, obviously.
Dunno. Maybe Assos?

2:14 AM
the chamois will do a pretty good job on the last point
you could lace up a powertap hub into anything
and that can grow with your child
once I get back to bhutan, I'll see if i can arrange a balance bike with drops
the kids need a new one, and I need to get some fun out of it too

That was hideous, btw.
Also they exist
That's 130 pounds though

bit steep
my plan involved some pipe and a bending jig
the clamp diameter on most is tiny
love the little brooks on there
woah, thought I'd check the bike I was going to get
not only is it quill stem, predictable really, now I think about it
but look at those forks
no stem, no rake
bike discount will ship those early riders to bhutan
oh dear

Heh bugger. I've seen balance bikes made from wood quite effectively. Most kids weigh little, so a wooden frame is quite workable

@alex Nice aero wheels. Looks fast. Are they carbon? :-)
I guess they have to fill the frame with lead, though, to meet the UCI weight limit.

yeah that's crazy - they should spend the weight making the bike better, not carrying deadweight.

@DavidRicherby toddlers seem somewhat rare in the peloton. Perhaps they cannot lift yet all the lead in their balance bikes?

That could be the problem, yes. But toddlers are so light -- imagine how fast they could climb!

Power to weight ratio could be off the charts.

Yes.
Wait. Top or bottom?
