There are a lot of grumpy people on StackOverflow. It takes practice to learn how to write a good question. A couple of things to consider: - StackOverflow is more geared to programming-specific help. There are other sites in the StackExchange ecosystem (e.g. SoftwareEngineering) where your questions may be more appropriate. - Questions such as this that are very opinionated don't typically fair well.
