Hey everyone, I recently posted this question: softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/q/406899/238766
Now after a few days of thinking about the problem and trying out solutions, I've come to the conclusion that a) this question is indeed not a very good one, and b) I'm gonna solve the problem in a different way.
But I was wondering if there's something to be gained from such a question? Like some sort of a blogpost disguised as a Q&A, would somebody be interested in workshopping this? I also thought perhaps I could draft an mvp and post it to codereview instead?

None of those seem mutually exclusive to me.
Also note that the ask a question page has built in support for self-answered questions. If you do find that there is a good way to put this question to yourself, but only find that out after you've discovered an answer, then go ahead and post a self-answered question. Just be sure the question reflects your current ignorance and doesn't include the answer already.

Am I the only one that can't see a link to the dupe for this question?

I'm voting to close this question because licensing advice is off-topic on Stack Overflow. You may be able to get help on SoftwareEngineering.SE, but read their faq carefully before proceeding. Legal questions may be asked on Law.SE. — Machavity 21 secs ago
