@GregBell Duga is a bot.

Well that stifles natural conversation a bit, doesn't it!

So where does everybody go for general chat about software modelling / design?
(if not here)
IRC somewhere?

@GregBell If you ask something here, someone may answer … but it could take 4 to 40 hours.

Well, that's not really chat, is it :) That'd be more like a forum or... hey, stack overflow!

This question isn't in-scope for StackOverflow. It might be better on the Software Engineer stack, but make sure to check their rules before posting. — numaroth 13 secs ago

Trying to find a home for this question. OP seems open to editing heavily, but is the premise on topic here?

Maybe look through the sites list to see if any look applicable. Be sure to read their posting FAQ before posting though. Maybe SF.SE would be a fit? — River just now

This might be a better fit for softwareengineering.stackexchange.com or codereview.stackexchange.com — WhiteHotLoveTiger 56 secs ago

Since this is not a technical question, maybe programmers would be a better place to ask this? — ferc 46 secs ago

It would have been much better if you have edited your previous question on exactly the same issue: stackoverflow.com/questions/49845134/…Simon Sobisch 29 secs ago
