@WorldEngineer K&R is on Safari Online, and you can (with sufficient time in the subscription) download an ebook or pdf version. It is certainly not free though.

Q: How to improve performance of a web system in java using netbeans profiler

aegisWe have a system on java that uses glassfish and because in some small pc the system goes slow we decide to use the netbeans profiler and it showed us the following information: Threads: 91 Loaded Classes: 14.186 (max) Total Memory: 282 MB Used Memory: 194 MB Time Spent in GC: 0%...

Thoughts? There's an existing "close - off topic - its about glass fish" Should that be a migration (tool based)? or is it even would be closed on SO?

@MichaelT question lacks research - I would hesitate to migrate it ("don't migrate crap")
Sharing your research helps everyone. Tell us what you've tried and why it didn’t meet your needs. This demonstrates that you’ve taken the time to try to help yourself, it saves us from reiterating obvious answers, and most of all it helps you get a more specific and relevant answer.
