@gnat You around?

@ChrisF hi

Re your flag. I think the only thing I can do is refund the bounty so you can start it again.
However, what I don't know is whether the automatic bounty inflation will kick in.

I see

So if you're willing to risk it we could try an experiment :)

do I understand it correctly there's a little risk that I'll loose 100 rep?
ah OK
yes, that's fine
let's take that risk

If I refund the bounty you'll get the current 100 back.

11:29 AM
to me it is worth taking

OK bounty refunded

OK, what steps for me to take? I am new to that
thanks! will re-assign it now
while I have your attention, another question...

OK

why am I shown as "CW-author" of this answer? programmers.stackexchange.com/a/141010/31260
looking at revisions history I can't see any compelling reason for this
of 10 revisions, I contributed to 3 and 4 and it was all reverted back to rev 2 in 5th revision

I thought it showed the name of the person who has contributed most text to the current version. But a rollback should have cancelled that.
Perhaps a meta question is in order to see if one of the devs answers.

11:33 AM
a-ha you also expect roll-back to be taken into account
meta question OK will do
I plan to post at P.SE meta if you believe MSO would be better fit, let me know
will drop off for a while, need to restart bounty :)

I was going to suggest MSO. SE claim that the child metas are checked regularly, but I'm not so sure.

MSO, OK so be it
bounty is back and right as I wanted it to look - thanks!

11:58 AM
correction - while preparing MSO question I noticed there were 7 revisions to answer I asked about, not 10
s@ChrisF answer has 7 revisions not 10 - the way I see it this would not make a difference would it? Everything else is as I said before stands - two revisions #3 and #4, rolled back in fifth => no reason for me to appear as an author (I think:)

No, I don't see how the number of revisions would affect it in this case

great thanks
