Q: where can I ask this kind of questions?

MiroprocessorI had asked these two questions Roadmap for switching from a Developer to a Project Manager What can developer do when he bored of his job? but both of them are closed for the same reason. So if I want to ask this kind of question again, where can I ask?

@MarkTrapp Look at the third question under the accepted column, area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/10331/immigration. Would solve many many OTs here.

Possibly

assuming it gets off the ground and assuming people are smart enough to follow directions and assuming they don't narrow things

@MattEllen Thanks :) Ok, nobody upvote or downvote me, I like being at 10001 rep ^_^
With 10001 rep you're just one downvote away from the unprivileged oblivion..
lol I never even realized I had new privileges :)

@Rachel Congrats on 10K. :)
@Rachel You have access to some "moderator tools" now, available through the Tools link at the top bar. Basically, if you're into that sort of thing, you can now view which questions are getting close and reopen votes (and cast yours if you feel it's appropriate), which questions are getting flags (and agree or disagree with them as you feel appropriate), and see some other stats and such. I think the suggested edit queue is in there somewhere too.

Thanks Anna. If I vote to close something, will it automatically close a question or does it just add a close vote?
@Rachel It'll just add a close vote. Only diamond moderators have the binding votes.
Oh good, I sometimes vote to close questions but I often am not comfortable enough to say if the question should definitely be closed or not so rely on other votes too
The tools you now have access to can help you help us with the day-to-day moderation. There's nothing you can do that can't be reversed by a moderator or would horribly break things. :)
You can basically keep doing what you're doing. Enjoy the site, etc. You just have an easier way to see if anything potentially "bad" is happening.
