@Will Well, welcome.

@Will Where?

Shomron region

@Will E"Y yes; Shomron no. I learned for a year at KBY.

fantastic yeshiva
re: the tzaddik discussion - I never attacked anyone personally, nor would I. I don't consider it bickering - it's a nice PR trick that Chabad employs; "if you disagree with us, you're a bad person, can't we all just get along?"
btw, what are you doing up? Cooking for shabbos?

@Will I think you're right that you technically didn't level any personal attacks, but comparing Chassidut to Christianity and then to Reform is pretty inflammatory
@Will Folding laundry, actually

7:47 AM
Someone needs to stand up and say that the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes.

@Will ... but my job isn't to pass judgement on who did what. The thread clearly went off the rails and requires moderation.

That's fine, I don't need to continue that discussion, I would just ask that you don't clip my comments in a way that someone else complains about me attacking them personally, and it looks like I did

@Will There's a time, place, and way to do it so that your opinion is heard without asking for a fight.

Fair enough
A frieilechen Chanukah and a good shabbos to you

@Will That's a fair concern. I will be careful, I assure you. Most likely, I'll just pick a time and delete everything after that time. That'll still require care so that I'm not unfairly giving someone the last word. A possibly more elegant solution would be to carefully edit out the offensive and personal parts and leave the substantive discussion and disagreement, but I just don't have the time or patience
@Will You too on both counts.
