What should I do if I want to add an answer from AoPS word-to-word to a question here? I'm not directly posting the link since it is formatted poorly there. I'm going to attribute it, but should I make it community-wiki (since I isn't my solution)?

@DS As far as I know there is no reason to make the answer community-wiki. CW answers are meant (and other may correct me here) for answers that are meant to be edited by the community, and not to prevent you from getting reputation points.
Just follow the advice in How to reference material written by others and you should be fine. You probably should not copy it “word-to-word,” usually the presentation can be improved.

@MartinR thanks.

@MartinR @DS Yeah. I think copying it word to word is considered plagiarism even if you include the source.
I heard an opinion like this before, perhaps its wrong

@Jakobian It depends, but copying word-for-word is not necessarily plagiarism. Plagiarism is taking another's work, and claiming that it is your own. If you copy something that someone else has written, but clearly label that material as a quote from someone else, it is likely not plagiarism.
It might be copyright infringement, or just bad writing, but absent an attempt to pass someone else's work off as your own, it isn't plagiarism.

@XanderHenderson so I should have no issues with this, right?

@DS If you are asking if that is plagiarism, I would say "No".

not just plagiarism, but about the site rules in general.

@DS What rule do you think that you have violated?

I just wanted to confirm. Originally I had intended to post it as is, and only add in Mathjax, but thought the the argument could be made to look nicer.
