@XanderHenderson This should not have been closed as a dupe (since the unrelated quesiton in the body is not a dupe of the target). Can that be fixed by diamond mods?

@BillDubuque In the case of the linked question, cannot you actually unilaterally reopen it using the dupehammer?

Or is the situation different if you were one of the close voters?

I should explicitly say that I did not actually look into the question whether they are duplicates or not - I am asking simply about the technical aspect.

Since the titled question is completely unrelated to the Q in the body, it is best to close it for some non-dupe reason (I voted for "needs clarity...")
