@TeresaLisbon I'm back! It's over! Thank god. Hope this doesn't happen again.

@epsilon-emperor I don't know what happened, but let's be Markov with respect to an augmented filtration (where you augment whatever you think led to your suspension to this particular time point) and move on to do well on the site. Wishing you the best going forward, of course we'll see each other here!

Amazing :)

Can I get some mod support here on meta? The post should be close for the reason I gave, and I'm getting really tired of meta being used to sponsor disgruntled users bringing other disgruntled users to support them. He, the OP, is still being snarky in his comments , one of which I flagged for mod attention, go figure. But thus far only a supporter joining in the snarky-anti-amwhy campaign has shown up.
As a final observation, which I was thinking of bringing up here, long before encountering the linked question, Is that I believe the majority of posts lately are very local complaints the OP has about their deleted or edited comment, their single rejected edit suggestion, their downvoted question, or downvoted answer (particular question, particular answer), a particular question deleted, or a particular answer deleted...etc... All of those being localized complaints.

@Xander this post with which you are familiar, has been closed/deleted, undeleted/reopened, closed/deleted, undeleted/ .... three deletions as of today. Are mods accepting of a perpetual edit close reopen, delete/undelete war. By far a greater variety of closers and deleters exist, than exist among reopeners/undeleters.
Any moderator is welcome to chime in, as well.

On weekends, now, math.se turns into the wild wild west with virtually no sheriffs, which is precisely what the FGITW love to take advantage of. Mod's chat is like a ghost town about four to five days a week.

I have been in trainings since 8 this morning.
Let me see what is going on...
@amWhy I think that I dealt with this earlier today---the post has since been deleted by the author, so I think that no further action is merited at this time. Based on the action I took, I think that we agree on the nature of many meta complaints. They are too local. :\
@amWhy I have been keeping an eye on that question. I didn't intervene that last time that it came up because there had been a fair amount of discussion in the comments, and I wanted to see how things shook out. At this point, it is my opinion that the current state of the question is appropriate. If that state changes again, I will likely intervene.

@XanderHenderson Yes, I posted it to you first, then thought to post it here minutes after, to not put the burden only on you.
@XanderHenderson Sure. Will do.

@amWhy Agreed on the point of diversity of opinion. It looks like the same three users have been responsible for every undeletion, while there are at least five unique delete voters (assuming that my count is correct). This is not a terribly strong trend, but it matters. There is also much greater variety in the list of close voters.

@XanderHenderson OMG! Training on your weekends?! Was it a one day affair, or will more Saturdays be required?

@amWhy Another 8 hours next Saturday.
I am not amused. :\
I was in front of a Zoom screen starting at 8 this morning. We wrapped up about 15 minutes ago. There were 30 minutes for lunch, and a couple of short breaks. Ugh.
I can barely see straight. :/

@XanderHenderson No I would not be amused.

11:33 PM
@amWhy What really bothers me about that thread is that I basically agree with the essential complaint---I got really angry with some of the otherSE moderators for modifying one of my chat comments at the time of the election.

@XanderHenderson Unwind with a cocktail, or a beer, maybe a flick, and sleep in tomorrow. (I won't bother you until 7:00 am, my time! ;D ;P No seriously sleep in as long as you need.)

So I get how he feels. But the tone of the complaint really hid the nut of the discussion.
@amWhy Imma go downstairs, juice some grapefruits and oranges from a friend's tree, throw in some tequila, and watch Kong v Godzilla with my little brother.
But I am going to take a few minutes to put out fires here, first.

@XanderHenderson Put out fires? Is there a drought/wind related fire risk. Don't be a hero!
@XanderHenderson Enjoy, and relax, once you put out fires? (Candles, a fire place?)
I'll let you go tonight (not that you need my permission to go!) See you!
Oh, I get the "put out fires here" reference! Math.se! Not at your home! Also, feel free to move whatever you think could be moved in terms of comments. I assumed we were speaking elsewhere. But I'm fine with keeping it here.
