Last May, I asked two questions on MSE which I later asked moderators to migrate to MO (I was under the impression that this was standard practice). One of these questions was migrated, while the other wasn't with the following comment left in response to my flag: "I don't see the point of that. Asked it there yourself and delete here or link back."
I am now considering migrating a recent question to MO, but given the differences in reply to my previous requests, I am unsure whether this is the right thing to do.
Is there some agreed upon practice for this situation?
