Do also moderators sometimes mark posts as status-completed, or is this left to SE employees?

I am asking in connection with: Columns in Response tab are strange widths. (I am not sure whether also some kind of answer saying that it is resolved - probably with a link to the Meta Stack Exchange post - should be posted.)
