I was told that a SEDE instance which has data for deleted posts is available to some users:

@Martin yes, SE staff (normally a Community manager) have an internal SEDE that is either refreshed daily or even allows poking at live database.
This internal SEDE instance is available just to Stack Exchange employees, right? Or do moderators have access too?
I am asking mainly in connection with: How much did “advice for first-time askers” help?
