Had I asked a week ago: Will the schedule be changed over the course of the election? You would have likely said, "I foresee no reason why it would be. Why would you think the schedule will be changed." Hence, it's hard for me to believe what is said today to not be subject to further alteration. As simple as that.
@AsafKaragila Already addressed that, many places, including in this chat. You see, I choose not to confuse users more than you and the mods, and the CMs already have. Yeah, I'm like that. I'm willing to not get my way, for the sake of not subjecting the community to further confusion.
@AsafKaragila Yes, in fact, I was hoping for an honest conversation, instead of you're dismissing me, off hand.
@amWhy And I was hoping never again to see you claim favoritism towards me. Maybe I just made a good argument that convinced the right people? I don't know. Maybe it's about what I say, and not who I am? I don't know. But that was dismissive and as offensive as claiming this was a gender/religion/ageist/whatever other kind of discrimination, which is definitely not conducive for a healthy discussion.
Add to that having to walk for nearly an hour back to my room, after a long day of mathematics, and you get a person who is impatient and has no tolerance to the content of his argument being dismissed on grounds of favoritism.
Sorry, @Asaf, but you cannot compare your situation here to gender/religion/agism/whatever kind discrimination, because, for one, you have never been discriminated against on this site, nor by me. I never claimed anything in this phenomenon was "intentional". And I hardly see any reason to put yourself at the center of attention in the concerns I expressed here. I never blamed you, and if you want to view your position on this site as "earned" and based only on merit, I can't stop you.
According to @AlexanderGruber, I'm a valued as an editor on this site. So I'll step back from all else I do on this site. That should make some folks happy.
@amWhy The point is that you dismiss someone's content based on who they are.
@amWhy Saying that whatever I say gets immediately "approved" is the same as saying that's because I'm a man everything I say gets "approved". Or because I'm Jewish and there is a secret cabal of Jewish elders controlling everything, everything I say gets "approved".
@amWhy The reason I put myself in the center here, is that this is not the first time you made these claims.
@amWhy I value your efforts in making this site better, and your suggestions for improvements. Don't get me wrong. If you want to see your contribution as marginalized, or feel offended somehow, I can't stop you.
@DanielFischer, @quid Other mods: IIRC I casted quite a lot of downvote recently, but I cannot find it anymore in my profile, is it reverted by the system? Thanks.
@JohnMa No. Probably the posts in questions have been deleted. Then you should still see the votes in your votes tab. (Which mods or other users can't see.)
Actually, it seems that last bit was mistaken, when the post is deleted, the downvote isn't shown in the "votes" tab. Delete votes and close/reopen votes are, but not down (and probably neither up).
@DanielFischer: Very recently I have seen two questions of @amWhy was removed from this thread. Is it acceptable if I post them again (of course mentioning that those question was originally written by @amWhy who decided to remove them)?
@user170039 Reason by analogy. If it was appropriate to repost one, are there special circumstances that would make reposting the other inappropriate? [I think in this case there aren't.]
user131753
@DanielFischer Well that depends (at least on the content of the post).
amWhy decided to withdraw from participation in the election, and removed the questions. I believe that she suggested that anyone else was free to repost them, and that they might get more support without her name attached.
