@JackDon I assume you are talking about this chat room: Algebraic Topology & Homological Algebra. (It is probably good to include a link if you want the mods to unfreeze it.)
If you peeked into it, you might have noticed that we discussed there whether it is worth keeping - it seemed to be rather inactive lately. See the conversations Letting this room freeze and About keeping this room alive.
But if you manage to find some users who are interested in the topic and you can help to renew activity in that room, that would be nice.
I will also mention that MathOverflow has the room called: Homotopy Theory.
BTW I starred your message - perhaps it might increase the chance that if some moderator checks this room, they will notice your message. (After it is unfrozen, we can remove the star, so that there is space for more important things in the starboard.)
Recently I have also asked whether other users think that having single room for algebraic topology, algebraic geometry, differential topology and differential topology would be reasonable: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/21328/2016/12/19
But since you say you plan to visit algebraic topology room a lot, let's wait first to see whether it gets a bit more of renewed interest.
Sadly, I can hardly contribute to those topics. But looking at top users in the relevant tags and the number of questions asked, it seems that many math.SE users are interested in those areas.
@DanielFischer I think I've already told you that your icon will look smashingly fashionable with the "Trendsetter" hat. The secret's been deciphered. Get out of the rut with wearing the same-old same-old by wearing a different hat on each of three consecutive days!
