@DanielFischer: In my currently open flag, I am starting to think that perhaps "previously deleted" is actually from MO. Not that it really matters. I might be wrong, and it was here.

@AsafKaragila It was probably on MO. Search didn't find anything here.

@DanielFischer Okay, then. This guy is so... everywhere. I can't keep track of it... :P

@AsafKaragila The number of accounts he created is a strongly inaccessible cardinal.

@DanielFischer Yeah. I guess he's trying to prove the consistency of infinite sets by showing they exist like that.
@DanielFischer In any case, this is a minor variant on the other six "questions" he had posted recently.

@DanielF Oh, Daniel, Daniel, wherefor art thou, Daniel?

8:02 PM
Because. Just because.

If wherefore is "why", is whatfore "who", whofore "where", whyfore "how" and howfore "what"?

You misspelled Watford.

@DanielFischer hahaha....
@AsafKaragila I didn't think I was using wherefor(e) as a way to ask "why"; I thought it was simply a Shakespearinesque version of "where"
@DanielFischer I don't get why virtually the entire thread of comments to asdf1234's question were mostly deleted? Most comments were sincerely seeking clarification, or legitimately asking said user to post one question at a time....I can understand why a post or two of mine might have been deleted...but virtually all others, too?
And why delete said users desperate comment/plea "Will someone please answer my question? If it was another mod, no need to answer. But I ask you because of your comments clarifying who posted what, and when.
@Asaf Whyfore art thou?

8:19 PM
@amWhy Busy busy busy. The usual stuff.

@AsafKaragila Question: How is the name "Shai" pronounce in Hebrew?

@amWhy After the edit, they looked obsolete to me. There was only one question left, and that was sufficiently clear.

@AsafKaragila I only ask because 7 years ago, I rescued and took in two cats from the same litter; I named the girl "Rinah" (which I was told meant "Joy"), and named the boy "Shai" (which I was told meant something in the way of "gift from God"
@DanielFischer Okay, I get that. I "forgive" you, and I'll allow it to stand. (Am I being a bi*ch, or what?)

@amWhy You don't look like a birch to me.
Those are white with a little black, you're blue.

@amWhy Those things are correct.

8:33 PM
@DanielFischer hahaha, you're hilarious.

@amWhy Kind of like "shy" in English would be pronounced.

@AsafKaragila I'd have thought "gift from God" would be pronounced Matiyahu. Or Yonatan.

@DanielFischer There are many ways to say the same thing.
Matanyahu would be a name of this sort, Yehonatan (or Yonatan, Jonathan, Johnathan, or any other variant) would be "god given" so the gift would be implicit.

@AsafKaragila That's kind of how I pronounce his name, though over time it's become more like "shy-ee." I've lost Rinah, two year ago, due to a congenital heart defect. I still have and love me Shai, the male. I have an affinity to Hebrew, as it was the language of my grandfather.
Unfortunately I've little knowledge of Hebrew.

@amWhy Hebrew is a peculiar language.
Its syntax is Semitic, as it's derived from the biblical texts; but the speech is borrowing a lot from Yiddish and European languages.
Well. It's time for me to go and be productive in one way or another.
See you later, maybe.

Oh wow, someone mixed some math in here. :P
