@JyrkiLahtonen As far as the chit-chat in this room is concerned, it's not really my business. This room was crated by Arthuer and moderators should be in charge here.

I just think it would be rather unfortunate if some stuff that really needs attention of mods would get unnoticed because of other conversations, which are unrelated to moderating the site.

@Lord_Farin, from what I can see, the user involved was a squeaky wheel from the start; the worst explosion on MO was probably the time an engineer at a Harvard lab asked a question involving lots of jargon, got angry when everyone said this is not mathematics, said everyone at his lab is a mathematician and they all know the material...complaints went pretty far. More about belief that a person is part of the community of mathematicians, and entitled, than anything else.

@MartinSleziak If you support univalent foundations you can always use homotopy type theory to claim that the typos are just homotopic to the correct spelling!

@Lord_Farin, the other memory was from a similar background to this guy, a headhunter for financial firms who insisted on placing advertisements for what he termed an "algo" on MO. He just kept at it, cared nothing for the expressed purposes of the site, to him this was a way to make money, find employees for his clients.
