Hi! There are a few suggestions in the retagging thread that seem to have generated some sort of consensus (no downvotes and no one disagreeing after more than a week, a relatively fair amount of upvotes). What is the next step?

@ArthurFischer I had a recent flag declined saying questions about Matlab are not off topic but from here and here I am inclined to believe the question has to be related to math not purely how to do x in program y.

@DanielFischer This question is not about math but how to do something in a program. Why was the flag declined since from meta one would believe it is off topic?
