Anything that can program an AVR will have to be classified as a "digital device" because that's what is needed to program an AVR (ATmega328 for example). The microprocessors have a defined protocal to program them, and some sort of "digital device" is needed to do that. There are stand-alone programmers, but you still need a computer to compile the code to generate the hex file to upload to the programmer which will program the chip. We've come a long way from the light-bulbs and toggle switches of the PDP-8, PDP-11, DG Nova mini-computers. — aMike 26 secs ago

Do not separate routes from controllers. Routes is just another name for Controllers. What other frameworks call "controllers" Express programmers call "routes". Therefore what you have is a controller and controllerController architecture which to me is nonsense. Like other MVC frameworks in other programming languages Express was designed to declare controllers as mapped to routes: app.get(route, controller)slebetman 36 secs ago

It is not acceptable to just post your homework assignment and hope that some of us will complete it for you. Some questions about homework can be on topic here, but you have to have put some effort in first. If you ask about a problem with your attempted solution, we'll be happy to help. Please see these previous posts for some details. — Blckknght 33 secs ago

I would argue that there are lots of objective, non-opinion based reasons not to use access for anything. See also softwarerecs.stackexchange.comJonasH 27 secs ago

"Programmers don't need to worry that they declare a wrong data types" Until they type get_int instead. Why exactly would it be an easier mistake to declare the wrong type than to call the wrong function? Either mistake comes from typing random stuff aimlessly. So the whole argumentation doesn't make sense. Notably, initializing variables from a function call is somewhat rare - the get_float is some CS50 thing. Also please note that CS50 has a bad reputation among C programmers and should be avoided. — Lundin 30 secs ago

@matt Sure it is: "software tools commonly used by programmers; and is a practical, answerable problem that is unique to software development" stackoverflow.com/help/on-topic And 2 years later, this is still a problem with sourcetree, funny. — Andrew 57 secs ago

You would be wise not to refer to spreadsheet with the term 'Sheet' because in google apps script documentation the Class Sheet refers to a page or tab in a spreadsheet. It is unfortunate that Google refers to their own products as sheets. It's probably because the high level administrators have never read their own google apps script documentation to realize what a problem it would cause for programmers. — Cooper 40 secs ago

@StayOnTarget Good point. Students should be learning the new technology. VS is free for students. The VB6 market is there but shrinking. Let's leave that to the mature programmers and teach the youngsters the new stuff. — Mary 14 secs ago
