Hey @overexchange, the code for itertools.combinations is already in the referenced link (you can copy from there). Maybe, hold on a bit, hopefully someone would provide a simple answer. Algorithm tag has very skilled programmers answering the questions, excluding me :). You can also tag your question with whatever language that you like to code. — Emma 41 secs ago

As a non developer your question might be better being asked at softwarerecs.stackexchange.com . StackOverflow is for programmers to discuss specific programming problems, hence why your question is deemed off-topic here — ADyson 17 secs ago

Iā€™m voting to close this question because it's not a question about programming or software engineering. Some questions about proofs of algorithms and their complexity can be on-topic here, but this is not specifically about algorithms, it's about basic methods of proof. — Paul Hankin 16 secs ago

Welcome to StackOverflow. I'm not sure this is the right place for your query - this is a forum for programmers with specific coding questions, but your problem is being caused by a very specific issue with a specific plugin you installed. Unfortunately I'm not sure you'll get the expertise you need here. — FluffyKitten 19 secs ago

As an addendum, the Guidelines for Wildcard Use discourage from returning types with wildcards: ā€œUsing a wildcard as a return type should be avoided because it forces programmers using the code to deal with wildcardsā€. — Holger 7 secs ago

You're very welcome. I'm learning a lot through these interactions as well. In contrast to classical software engineering that you do for a specific (group of) customer(s) it's not always easy to know what users of open-source software like R/exams need/expect/struggle with/etc. Hence, discussions like this improve the software quite a bit! — Achim Zeileis 40 secs ago

Although I regard this as a helpful error, its wording is less clear to less experienced programmers than most Java error messages. "UnsatisfiedLinkError" is defined in Java docs as "Thrown if the Java Virtual Machine cannot find an appropriate native-language definition of a method declared native.", i.e., there is a native-language library (as opposed to a jar) that the runtime cannot find. Google "java rxtx install" and find instructions for installing the DLL file needed for rxtx to work. — arcy 18 secs ago
"I want code" is also not acceptable here, though you could try Software Recommendations for that. The tag spam here suggests you have not spent a lot of time looking for existing solutions before posting, and is itself unacceptable. — tripleee 14 secs ago

Why are you using iweight anyway? "iweights... have no formal statistical definition... They are usually intended for use by programmers who want to produce a certain computation." (stata.com/manuals13/u11.pdf#u11.1.6weight). See also "Importance weights, unlike the other three types, do not have a specific formula and can only be used with certain commands; they are primarily useful to programmers..." reed.edu/psychology/stata/gs/tutorials/weights.html iweight acts different in different commands and isn't generally implemented in R AFAIK — duckmayr 1 min ago

Welcome to Stack Overflow. Please read Open Letter to Students with Homework Problems. You can't just dump your problem statement here and expect us to do it for you. It's also a good idea to take the tour, read about what's on-topic in the help center, and especially How to Ask since this question is very unclear even if it were on-topic. — Chris 1 min ago

Please provide more information and possibly a screenshot of the "delegation" you are seeing in Time and Expense that you would like to have in other parts of the system. The version of your Acumatica instance may be very important as well. There is something in the programming side called "delegate" which is available for programmers to attach to standard system functionality using an override and delegate. I did not find any reference to "delegation" per se in the Acumatica help or Time and Expense Module screens in Acumatica 2019R2. — Brian Stevens 30 secs ago

I'm not a finite automata expert (programmers rarely use them in practice, they're mostly for theoretical discussion), but I suspect you need separate states for each counter value. And you can inly get to the final state from the states for counter=3 through counter=16. — Barmar 11 secs ago

Despite 45 years of experience writing code, a degree in software engineering, 33 years experience as a full time software engineer, 20 years of experience creating websites, and employment at AT&T, Cisco Systems, Redhat, and Sun Microsystems I still know so little. Anyway design questions like this are usually considered off-topic and too broad here. They accept architecture type questions (see softwareengineering.stackexchange.com/help/on-topic). — ADyson 47 secs ago

This is off-topic for Software Engineering SE as well. Some friendly advice: since it sounds like creating this from scratch would be a bit too project for you at the moment, I would personally go with finding, installing and configuring ready-made POS software for the customer (there are many.) The customer would get better software and it would be a much easier task for you. — Guy Incognito 20 secs ago

Unfortunately, Stack Overflow is specifically for programming questions, and most of the other sites in the Stack Exchange network also don't do recommendation questions. Software Recommendations may be able to help, but they have fairly strict question standards there so make sure to read through the links and help center first. — John Montgomery 38 secs ago
