Thanks! I will take a look at the software engineering one. The cs theory one does not seem to have 'metaprogramming' or 'reflection' tags, so that's probably not an ideal fit. — Arno 13 secs ago

No. That's not how Stack Overflow works. Please read Open Letter to Students with Homework Problems. You can't just dump your problem statement here and expect us to do it for you. It's also a good idea to take the tour, read about what's on-topic in the help center, and How to Ask. — Chris 23 secs ago

Maybe you could also ask on softwareengineering.stackexchange.com. I think your problem is less with actual coding and more to do with concepts and algorithms and could maybe be a better fit for them. — Trilarion 1 min ago
Hi, this question is not really suited to Stack Overflow, as it doesn't present any specific coding issue which we can help you with. Possibly consider deleting this and posting on the Software Recommendations Stack Exchange instead? — Paul Benn 19 secs ago

It's not a simple insert statement, that's why I didn't include it here. QGIS uses a cursor and unfortunately these users are not programmers so they need to use this simple interface. While QGIS uses SQL, it does not have the nextval function. Would there be an instead of trigger that can work here? — Luffydude 17 secs ago

Not directly related to your question, but you should write foo->bar instead of (*foo).bar. It's exactly the same thing, but 99.9% of all C programmers prefer the latter. — Jabberwocky just now

named let is translated to letrec, as are internal defines. love your last paragraph! in fact, it's the lack of (proper) teaching that causes this. in maths they love to throw poorly explained stuff at students, that's how they select for the strong ones. we programmers are a casualty of this. we need good explanations, with motivations and prequels. "What is Y?" should be answered by "let me first show you the U combinator; then Y just arranges for automatic code replication so the copy is available to call, if needed". "What is Monad?" -- "first, Functors". — Will Ness 37 secs ago

It's funny, vscode did exactly that, created a (probably existing, of course) ontology of "software engineering elements": function-symbols, event-symbols... Now the language support folks have to decide if something is a 'field-symbol' or a 'property-symbol', and for end user devs it all may not be that clear, but it makes python outline usable. Yay! — Marvin 1 min ago

"This isn't really a programming question" questions about tools used by programmers (especially when used for programming) are on topic. If Notepad++ is saving incorrectly, then that's an SO question, although it can also be asked over at SU. — VLAZ 44 secs ago

The model isn't mine, it is Google's. As stated in the initial post, I merely want to train it on my own data and for that I need a way to find out format of data that model is written to process. Since you're from Google, perhaps you might be the best person to point to the tool programmers at Google use to debug TF2 code. — user43623 57 secs ago
