@mickmackusa there is something interesting there - the OP says that they "choose Ubuntu" and then get the installer interface. I guess they are choosing Ubuntu in the firmware boot menu. Perhaps the USB appears there as "Ubuntu", and so the answer might be correct. But I would not expect that boot menu to be presented at all without the user doing something to access it, so perhaps they are choosing Ubuntu from an actual bootloader menu and it is failing to boot the installation
