Is there any way to extend safely the file name length in ubuntu. I'm trying to save files with title longer than 256 characters but since the limit is 256 I cannot proceed. I'v read somewhere that is possible to change the file system but that may be risky.
P.S. I already know about the folder name length which can be more than 256 characters but my problem is not filename length.
