I think my ubuntu is showing wifi signals with a channel ranging from 6 to 11. Outside the channel, it doesn't list the wifi name. How to solve the issue?

Samsung is the only manufacturer that has supported it consistently. Well, I guess Nokia if you count the Lumias.

LG did it for a bit, then stopped. The new G6 has it again though. Hopefully it sticks around.

Q: Can't scan the transponders from a satellite using w_scan

I'm trying to use w_scan to scan the transponders from a satellite, on Debian 8.0 it worked, but on Debian 8.7 it doesn't work. At the same time, i can scan all the transponders by using Kaffeine (Version 1.2.2). I.e. all is almost good, but I really need to get w_scan to work as well. How to...

For those following the Ballad of Oli's New PC, still not seen enough evidence of good 1800X overclocking and I decided I still do too much gaming to ignore single core performance... So went with the wildcard and bought a modded i7-7700 that guarantees a minimum 5GHz. And Samsung 960 m2 SSD. New PC is going to be ridiculous.

AskUbuntu has quite a few "superstars" here, surprisingly. Some of the most common and well known tools / apps come from here
