I have a folder with a bunch of files and .sh scripts. I want to move all of the files except the scripts to another folder. Can someone help me?

@cl-netbox Ubuntu being a minority OS that wants to gain more users, I think we occasionally have to help Windows users with iterop issues. Dual-boot bootloader stuff is so very rarely about one OS, so yeah, there are going to be answers that contain Windows-based instructions. Shock horror. It's still helping Ubuntu users though.

We had known each other since we were very young, her family often took me in when my parents were being not such great parents, and they had known about me for a long time. She said she didn't care either way. I guess she actually did, though. She left me, but it was pretty clean. I'm still in contact with her family and we're all still pretty much friends.

Yeah, we're not at each other's throats or anything. She agreed not to spend all of my money, she's not taking our daughter away from me. She just doesn't see herself with a woman. I tried explaining she always was with one, but she says this is different. It's how she feels, and I can't change that anymore than she can change me.

But, as I said, life is good now. I have more time to tinker(she was always a cuddler and in need of intention, whereas I'm more "do my own thing") and work on myself, and I feel much better about who I am now that the world can see it.

Work was a little messier... I had to call in HR and ask the other people at my school site if they were okay with the transition. One guy at this school site said he wouldn't want to work with me. They transferred him to another location in our charter about an hour away because "majority rules", and they don't want anyone feeling uncomfortable at work.

@Fabby Told her not to bring food or drink in the lab and to put away water bottle ( which is the labs policy - no food or drink in the lab ). And I told her that when she called me over during class, when she asked me to look at her computer because it was booting slowly. So she send a complain to my supervisor that I was disrespectful to her in front of students and interrupted the class .

@AnubianNoob Technically, yes. I am the lab tech ( read front desk guy ) and we're supposed to help students with technical problems AND enforce lab policy, which means tell students AND professors not to bring food in the lab

@Fabby she just told me that "technically" during class time it's professor's space, so it's better to talk to them after class. Funny how she can interrupt class to asks me about the slow booting computer, though, but I am not supposed to make her polite remark to put water away. Besides, she gives bad example to the students
