@jrg I have googled this 3 months ago, but the project just popped back up, i would like to change my boot screen colors to something more... manly... that orange on purple... something like.... pink on white? ha ha... no.... I would like to change my boot screen's colors to #00FF00 on #000000, but the last time i googled, i would have to photoshop a bunch of images in a dir, is there a better way?

Open Accessories > Terminal
Run: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mefrio-g/plymouthmanager
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install plymouth-manager
Open in applications menu.

No matter which one of the 5 available Danish keyboard layouts I choose from, the @ symbol (at) is always alt2 instead of the alt', which is normal on Danish Mac keyboards.
The answer to No keyboard layout in keyboard preferences to match Danish macbook doesn't fix this.
