@Edlothiad no, but notifications are pretty limited
outside of moderators, people can only ping you if you've been in the room recently
if you've posted a message or if you are listed in the room if you haven't
I know it's pretty restrictive to minimize chat notifications
was this something where you were actually having a problem or just a hypothetical?
and if you aren't familiar with how to leave a room, if you click the little up arrow next to the name of the room on the right panel, that leaves the room
or you can hit the Leave or (All) buttons to leave the current room or all rooms
