Hi
I need help with searching and subscribing feeds.
Want to trace "mods:" in particular room.

@Pandya What do you mean by "trace mods"?

@MartinSleziak I want to search message e.g:
mods: this requires attention

Well, searching in chat is simple - you just input the words which you are searching for into the query.

Strict search like ^mods:* in the language of regex

And you can restrict this to specific user/specific room if needed.
I see. I am not sure chat search support regex.
Searching for "mod" also returns "mods": chat.stackexchange.com/search?q=mod&room=50198
Here is something related on Meta Stack Exchange: Support for searching chat messages with a regex-like syntax

@MartinSleziak see this isn't working as expected

@MartinSleziak and I don't want that I strictly needs "mods:"
@MartinSleziak I know regex are not working, Is there any work around or I have to code a bot?

So if this comment is correct, it basically says this does not work:
without the * the result is the same. There is a known bug that special chracters like * + ( ) etc are not searchable and are ignored — rene May 25 '15 at 21:02
In your case, it seems that mods and mods: returns exactly the same results.

Any sign !, @, #, $, %, ^, & sounds ignored though

Sorry, I do not know whether this kind of special search can be done in chat. Let's hope somebody more experienced notices your question.

@MartinSleziak no-problem. Thanks :)
e.g. this search should track this exact match.
Btw, looking at your project from profile @MartinSleziak that looks interesting

Do you mean the bounty room?
That one has already been abandoned: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/19138/2017/7/8
I should probably update my profile.
