@Warrior, like some comments mentioned above, you could add country/cultural background and age to be able to provide a more appropriate/accurate response. — KNP 36 secs ago

I think "ok" is the best response. I guess saying "you win" or "you're right" could also spark a response like "Of course I am" or something. "Ok" is perfect. It doesn't indicate anything. The other response I could think of was not speaking until he says "You are not telling anything" and then give a sharp response like "What's the point if you keep turning everything into an argument" and if an argument like question is posed, just a dull look like "What did I just say" should suffice. — KNP 6 secs ago

I would also add that there will always be things that you want to buy that she thinks are not worth spending your shared income on, and vice versa. My husband and I have the same issues. One thing we did that helped was to sit down and decide on a budget, including a "personal spending" allowance, equal for both of you, to spend as you choose without hearing any complaints from the other person. The issue to address isn't about what you are spending your money on, but how you decide how to spend it. — Francine DeGrood Taylor 1 min ago

I think it is very important to have your own things in a marriage; your own special space, your own "allowance", your own time, etc. But it is also important that both partners feel that the division of labor, money and time is equal, or at least as equal as you can make it. — Francine DeGrood Taylor 1 min ago

Does this coworker offer any reasoning for why they should be in charge of each project, or do they simply say that they want to be in charge? — Upper_Case 54 secs ago

Just FYI - it may not be the best idea to use a 'real' profile pic or username which you use elsewhere (like YouTube for example) for a question such as this. — brhans 1 min ago
