Cool. But have you considered how the other person might feel? — only_pro 1 min ago

It sounds like he's effectively been stealing from you for years, and I'm not sure why you think he's going to stop if you ask nicely. — Erik 29 secs ago

I agree that they are obviously free to not answer my question (as you said, I am not entitled to an answer), and that I must make this clear. I would however have serious concerns about the idea that there is absolutely no "burden of proof" (not towards me on that precise day, but towards... people in general) for issues that call for necessary, but very deep changes in the way all our interactions are shaped. Just like justice cannot expect citizens to "prove they did not do anything wrong", a social movement cannot expect change without pointing to specific, objective issues — Mowgli 1 min ago

I wouldn't say that there's no burden of proof. But generally speaking, those who feel like they're discriminated against shouldn't have to bear all of it when talking to people like us who look just like those who've put them in the place they're in. But how we should bear that burden is an entire topic, not something that can be covered in 600 characters. I'm unfortunately in a situation where I can meet that burden for them just by paying attention, but it sounds like you would need to do more than that. — Ed Grimm 21 secs ago
