old comment i know... "they told me they didn’t want to spend that much for the hotel", did you tell them exactly the same, but for the tour? Your issue was the exact same as theirs but keep in mind it does not mean they have to choose the same solution as you. — Jesse 23 secs ago

@AndreaLazzarotto Just responding to this as the question popped up in my timeline again, the significant thing about the individual in cultural terms is not where they are from, it is where they are not from. The onus is on that individual to accustom themselves to the habits of the host environment, particularly when it is a matter of unwelcome bodily contact. It matters not whether he is from the north or south in this context. — Spagirl 1 min ago

+1 for suggesting an alternative, rather than a yes/no. Leaving them a graceful exit avoids unintentionally putting pressure on them. — Matthieu M. 1 min ago

I've been thinking about this pretty concretely to see if I could add it to my game. Some thoughts:

- Clockwork games generate "fun" through two different methods: Time exploration (learning and discovering what happens when) and time pressure (I need to do X before a certain time). Obviously, games can choose which to emphasize.
- Clockwork games have 2 primary problems to solve:
1. How to communicate the future to the player
2. How to create a series of cause/effects
- A game loop solves the first problem easily Everytime the player loops, the know more about the future. Developers

maybe they're generous, but mostly it just means you're overthinking things — BKlassen 2 mins ago

Oooh! I think I have a solid idea. I could make my RTS have series of stages that represents the "Challenge" of the game. Aka, stages could be waves of monsters, spawning lairs, moving in AI neighbors, and incoming boss, etc.
so, instead of a bunch of random events, you randomly pick the "event", then add additional randomness to make the scenario unique
